On the last day of my Mentawai adventure, I made a trip to Masilok beach –a remote and very lovely white sand beach– with my friends. We arrived at the beach at midday only to find it was completely empty, there wasn’t any single tourist on the beach except us. It was just like having a private island. We were killing time by sleeping on the shade of a coconut tree, facing the ocean, and listening to reggae songs.
“Jah mon rastaa….”
